Living With Grunts

1.Rules

Welcome to the section on Living with Grunts in this section you will learn some of the things that goes through a grunts mind while he is dealing with you the gruntee. When dealing with grunts there is one major thing to remeber at all times... Listen to them at all times! These members of the clan are in charge no matter which one you talk to you MUST listen to them 100%. There are certian exceptions to this rule and most of them shouldn't happen if the Grunt is following the set of rules for him/her. These include.

A Grunt telling you to break a major rule.

If a grunt tells you to break a rule, roleplay disgust and decline to do it. If the grunt insits, then follow the order and tell another grunt what he made you do later.

2. Getting Punished

Many gruntees feel wronged by grunts in some way (ie. they killed me for something I didn't do ect.) This is a common feeling but have trust in the fact that the grunts know what they are doing and they know how to make you into a fighting force. The clan is an army and the fact that he killed you or not is not a factor the lesson is. If a grunt kills you for looting a human but all you did was look on the corpse, but he accuses you of looting accept it... he is only doing his job. Learn from lessons like this even if you didn't do it, it will drill into you the importance of the rules that are laid down. Another good thing to remeber about getting punished by a grunt is that most of the time they won't hold it against you or be extra hard on you the event (in most cases) is forgotten.

When getting killed by a grunt DO NOT RUN! This will make the grunt much more angry at you. Also it is good to either tab out of war mode or disarm your weapon so you do not hit the grunt with your auto-defending character.

3.Fighting with Mojoka (and Mojokii)

This will also be covered in the basic battle tactics but is so important that I felt the need to post it here also.

In a battle a mojoka will use a spell to make the target unable to run or cast spells. A Mojo Krimp (An Ex Por) Should always be followed with surrounding of the target (DO NOT ATTACK THEM) once the target is surrounded the order will be give'n to attack. Follow these simple inscructions and you will be a mojoka's best friend.

Cautions bow users that you are not still firing arrows at the human ... if mojo krimped a arrow will break the spell and the human will go free... your best bet is to enter the krimp instead of staying back and firing you bow.

In battles sometimes there will not be a clear battle leader. take this example for instance.

There are humans attacking the fort. One grunt says to start up fort defense... Another says to charge the attackers... What should you do? They have both givin orders and you know you should listen. Under this situation you accually have to use your judgement. If you think it would be better tactics wise to charge then follow that order. But if there is 20 humans outside and only 6 orc then set up fort defense. A good thing to remeber is that nobody has ever gotten punished for following a grunts orders. One thing about this situation I should clear up... if there is one grunt in the fort and 20 humans outside and only 6 gruntees in the fort and he tells you to charge you better listen... orcs do not fear death and neither should you for your character... it is better to die following orders then to have a grunt remeber you for not following them.
