Runtee Surbibal - By Klog'rokk

1. Equipment. yeah i know, every runtee gets pissed when they lose their things. just go to the fort, usually there'll be a few dead shardies. pick up the runtee tunic, boots, and helmet from an orc captain. loot an axe, and as many shinies as you can. ask for a heal, (*bleed*), and find some wool. of course do all this after getting permission to loot the corpses. with all the shinies youve looted, you should end up with at least 300-400, give or take a few. and if you havent got that much, stick arou, hide until some shardiez are being knocked off, ask to loot, take the shinies. do this until your up to 300-400gp. go to the makr hut, buy yourself a weapon. a decent weapon wont cost over 350.

2. wool. there are several bubhosh places to get wool. i prefer going to far east mountain in the deadie uzgs, and following it north. i follow it all the way around until it hits orc valley. if i havent found enough wool there, which is highly doubtful, ill head back towards yew, far north of the fort. youll find unshorn sheep there about 90% of the time. my last resort is a bit risky. head up north into yew, to the sheep pen at the far south end of yew. sneak around the npcs, until youre at the south end of the pen. hide, attack the sheep, and sheer them from outside the pen. be careful to avoid npcs and pcs though.

3. getting more shinies. i usually always get more shinies as i have the habit of buying new things even when unneeded. i head far northwest of the fort until the mountain curves around. from there youll find a lot of monsters that give good gold, trolls, elementals, reapers, ogres, harpies, etc. roam around there for a bit, kill some monsters, and i guarantee youll walk out with at least 1500-2000 gold. take that gold and spend it wherever you please. of course spending more time there will equal more gold. me personally, i buy 2 extra weapons, an extra set of armor, and leave the rest of the gold. i put the extra armor and 1 extra weapon in a bag and set it somewhere just incase i die.

4. clomp survival. anyones best friend, especially in sc, is mojo waddurs. after getting all those extra shinies, i suggest finding a good vendor and buying as many greater cure, greater heal, and total refresh pots as possible. they will save your life countless times. if you cant find cheap greater cures, regular heals will do, but theyre obsolete when you get dp'd. you can also find potions on monsters, every potion is helpful, dont trash any, at least i dont.

5. when on a trib. i myself try to stick as close to the trip leader as possible. that way i know where the majority of the group is going. if there is no specific leader, then i choose a grunt or mojoka and stick with him/her. that way a runtee wont be left alone to be picked on by oomies. hide when told to, and dont stray from the pack! dont unhide to chase some oomies. if there is a trap set, dont come out for any reason unless the grunt that set it says to.

6. fort raids. listen to the grunts instructions. the best thing to do is stay inside the fort. if you have no rags, stay towards the center of the fort where oomies cant get you. or if you want to be bubhosh, if shardies are in the fort, leave all your things in a bag, put it in the grunt hut, and lead them awey. other than that, dont leave the fort to chase oomies, especially when theyre on food.

7. pvp. dont chase oomies on food id like to say more on this topic, but i dont think i should. anywho, maybe ill write later, im getting kinda tired now. *yawns* hope this post helps anyone who needs it. wow, this post is really long, hehe. p.s. this re-equipping process usually takes me about 30mins to an hour. if i havent got enough time to play i just finda nice tree to hide behind and resume the enxt time i play.
